POP

In 2005 Laura won a singing contest organized by an Estonian radio station Sky Plus. As a grand prize, Sven Lõhmus wrote and produced her debut single ''Moonwalk'', which can be considered as the cornerstone of her successful career. ''Moonwalk'' placed second in the Estonian Eurovison pre-selection final. Nevertheless, she managed to take part of the ESC that year as part of a girl-group called Suntribe.

In 2007 Laura took part in the Eurovision Estonian Final again, with her song ''Sunflowers'', making her a runner up, once again.

Her debut album ''Muusa'' was released later that year and is one of the most successful albums of the last decade in Estonia, having sold over 10 000 copies. ''Muusa'' was titled the Album of The Year and due to that Laura was also the Female Artist of the Year

In the beginning of December, 2015, Laura released her song ''Supersonic'', which was one of the finalists in the song competition Eesti Laul 2016.  ''Supersonic'' placed II in the Final Show!

In 2017 Laura represented Estonia at the Eurovision Song Competition with Koit Toome. Check out the song & the official video - Verona

In spring 2017 Moonwalk records gave out her ‘‘Greatest Hits’’ album, which is available via Lasering.

IMPRO

Free impro has taken her to many different countries to perform and take part in inspiring workshops, f.e. the DIA in Amsterdam. Due to the connections she got from the Dutch Impro Academy she has been invited to play as a trio with Han Bennink & Jaak Sooäär. In the autumn of 2014 they played at the 40th anniversary celebration of the legendary jazz concert stage at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam.

Last October Laura represented the Estonian impro scene at the contemporary music festival in Wroclaw and was part of the program Melting Pot.

About

Blessed with an impressive voice full of energy, uniquity and surprises, Laura has won the hearts of music lovers in many different genres, making her an awarded multi-vocalist, who has released 6 albums and over 20 solo singles.

She is most known for her pop-anthems, TV appearances and entries for the national Eurovision pre-selection contest. During her 15-year career, she has run for the grand prize 6 times in total, winning twice, in 2005 and 2017.

In her native Estonia, she has been especially successful in pop music, being the most played artist in the Estonian radio stations during the last decade. It is certainly an impressive fact but Laura has not let the fact disturb her. Her main driving force is a hasty wish to become better and offer the audience diverse music – what else might explain her music studies in Estonia, the USA and Germany.

In summer 2015 Laura & Joel Remmel recorded their debut jazz standard album “No Moon At All” in a live setting playing concerts at different Estonian mansions. Of course, the standards are going to be in a modern ''sauce'' and you can hear all sorts of guest players with them!

Since 2016, she is also the president of the Estonian Jazz Union.
